DAY 1 : MARRAKECH / ATLAS MOUNTAINS / AIT BEN HADDOU / OUARZAZATE / DADES VALLEY:
From 8 am, the visit of the Marrakech desert to the Dades gorges lasts about 7 hours, where you will pass by the Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages. You will also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a village that began 12,000 years ago and was an important part of the salt route. Today, it is renowned for being a favorite spot for Hollywood movies and television series. Indiana Jones, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and the Game of Thrones TV series, season 3, are among the famous movies. Here you will have lunch in the picturesque village, where the structures are still used and indulge in local food in the middle of an authentic ancient village.
The next stage of your visit from Marrakech to Fez will be a visit to Ouarzazate before heading to the Dades Gorges via Skoura and the Rose Valley. Once you reach the Dades Gorge, you will end the day and retire to a traditional kasbah.
DAY 2 : DADES GORGES / TODRA GORGE / RISSANI / MERZOUGA :
On the second day of your trip from Marrackech to Fez, we will drive to the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga (the Sahara Desert). On the way, you will cross Berber villages such as the Todra Gorge, Tenghir, Erfound and Rissani, considered as one of the most sacred cities of Morocco and the origin of the dynasty that governs Morocco. Its founder is buried in the village. From Rissani, you will cross rocky terrain to the desert of Merzouga, where a caravan of camels will be waiting for you. You can go on a camel ride on the dunes of Erg Chebbi to admire the beautiful Saharan sunset. You will then retire to a camp in the Sahara desert, where dinner will be served under the stars and local nomads will play traditional music with traditional drums throughout the night.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA / ERFOUD / ERRACHIDIA / MIDELT / FES :
The last day of your visit from Marrakech to Fes. It is recommended to get up early in the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, then to hike by camel to the hotel where breakfast will be served by local Berbers. drive to Fez aboard a minibus passes through scattered villages. You will also cross the mountains of the Middle Atlas, with the possibility of stopping in the cedar forests to observe the monkeys. Lunch will be enjoyed at local restaurants along the way. Housing in Fes will then be appreciated in a hotel in the city.
